65th Anniversary Celebration

Please join us at the Church of the Redeemer for our 65th Anniversary Celebration to be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 12PM. Our theme for this year’s anniversary, “Reimagining God’s Work, Restoring God’s Creation, and Re-creating God’s Kingdom,” was inspired by scripture found in the book of Isaiah 43:19. We will live-stream the service from the sanctuary, and a reception, in the fellowship hall, will immediately follow the service.

The Mobile Mammography Program

Mammography Screening under the Affordable Care Act

Facts & Features

In every community across the country, the Affordable Care Act is working to increase access to affordable, quality health care. This is especially true for women.

Screening Mammograms have no copay or deductible.

•        No one may be charged money for a screening mammogram.

•        Women with pre-existing conditions can no longer be discriminated against or charged higher premiums for their health coverage.

Financial Guidelines

Both individual market and employer plans must cover free preventive services such as immunizations, well-baby visits, mammograms, and cancer screenings.

Promoting Individual Responsibility. Under the law, most individuals who can afford it will be required to obtain basic health insurance coverage or pay a fee to help offset the costs of caring for uninsured Americans. If affordable coverage is not available to an individual, he or she will be eligible for an exemption. Effective January 1, 2014.

Establishing the Health Insurance Marketplace. Starting in 2014 if your employer doesn’t offer insurance, you  will be able to buy it directly in the Health Insurance Marketplace. Individuals and small businesses can buy affordable and qualified health benefit plans in this new transparent and competitive insurance marketplace. The Marketplace will offer you a choice of health plans that meet certain benefits and cost standards.
